Itallic \'H\' decoration
#1
Salve,

Does anyone have clear illustrations of the punched decorative panels on the original Itallic 'H' from Niedermormter. I am splurging out on the new Deepeeka lid and want to add the decoration, but I need the exact pictures. I already have HRR, and have got every image I can find off RAT, but they only cover a few of the areas.

Also, does anyone have the full text from the inscription on the front of the peak?

Thanks in advance,

Celer.

Hi Celer,
Did you check the helmet database? It has the full inscription. I have hi-res versions of all those photos. Just holler.
Greets!

Jasper's link seems to bring you straight back to this thread..

Try This Celer..

I can make out the icthyocentaurs inside the lamdas and signa within the ansata, but that's about it. The inscription on the brow front reads:

"LEG XXX VLP VIC L SOLLIONI SUPERI"

I'd ask for J's hi-res pics if I were you!
