The Romans did not uses the spur of sting until the IVth century A.C. For that they did not uses these before, if knew his use from IIIrd century B.C.?

i always thought that spurs were introduced in Europe between A.D. 700/ 800
third century BC? never heard of the usage of spurs of that period?

In Spain some tombs of Iberian warriors dated in the centuries IV-III B.C. show these spurs with sting, for logic the Roman armies that auxiliary Spanish of the cavalry used, they saw the employment of these spurs.
