Well, I have just ordered the new version of this book from Military & Aviation Bookclub! I hope there are enough new items in it to make the expense worthwhile? The one I have is great! 8)

Well, according to the write up it has new material! Mine is the '98 edition too! Could have sworn I bought it a lot longer ago than that!
But anyway, I am hoping it will have new items of interest! The 98 is great!

Yes, it is great! It is a beautiful book just for the illustrations only. I wish there were more books like that of ancient history in general. Can you please make a short "review" when you have the book?

I've had a look and there is one that seems to match the description on pg 22. It seems to be greek hoplites fighting Persian Immortals?
