A belated happy birthday to RAT!
#1
Last year January 7th 2001 was declared to be the birthday of RAT. Since I spent that day sitting in a plane back from the US to Europe / recovering from jetlag, I seem to have forgotten to congratulate RAT & especially all its members on this memorable day. Also, on or about that day we passed the magical mark of 100,000 posts!

I've said it before, but I'll say it again: RAT wouldn't be what it is without the contributions of its centuriae of members. Thank you all!

Donatives all around (1 laudes for every year of RAT, that is)!
Greets!

Many happy returns! Presumably, Jasper will be distributing Imperial largesse to all his faithful trops? Big Grin

Ave Adrian,

you know that the arrangement fee for distributing the 6 Euros (instead of laudes) is at least 15 EUR. So just press the 'donate button', insert the difference of 9 EUR and you'll be there!

And on a more serious and worthwhile note, thank you to all of the members and moderaters who make RAT such a wonderful place to learn and share information. It is both an fine forum for sharing information and an enviable community.

Well done especially to Jasper and Jenny!

Thanks all around (and you're welcome too!) Smile

At the start you couldn't have told me that my little Roman Army Talk would grow and evolve into what we've made it. A group effort, and thankfully we have some terrific volunteers on staff, Jasper and Christy foremost among them.

Everyone has a valuable part to play. You donate your research and creative ideas to the whole world when you post in a forum online, so never underestimate how important it is that you keep sharing with us. The high quality of content at RomanArmy.com and RAT is simply incredible. I'm humbled at the collective knowledge that members display.

Thank you for being loyal members over these years of collaboration and growth!
Cheers,
Jenny
