Mike Bishop just pointed out that people offering artefacts from their collection for comment should also give the dimensions of it.
Obviously, we've all seen a shape that seems to conform to the Roman norms, but the sad fact is that it may be twice the size of a verifiable piece, or half the size.
In the interests of making sure that the discussion is a serious one, can we please not just post a photo, but be a bit more scientific about the subject and post dimensions?
