As announced in the latest newsletter, here are the new criteria for new Marketplace subforums:
- Member must be active (at least 50 posts) when applying for the Marketplace.
- Member must be in good standing with the community. He needs to produce at least 3 recommendations from other active members.
- Member should not be a pure reseller. It must be clear from his products that he either makes (part of) them himself or improves them/helps his customers improve them.
- Upon getting a subforum, the member must continue to be active and post actual contributions to the forum, reconstruction and research.
- Members must acknowledge that the possibility of negative reactions is part and parcel of a marketplace spot. Moderation will only be applied in case of unreasonable complaints or slander.
- In return for this service, members will do their best to maintain and promote the reputation of the site and forum.
Current holders of subforums in the marketplace will be treated with lenience, but are of course encouraged to live up to these criteria.
