How are you going to pick at a fantasy movie, Chuck? Unless you take a copy of the comic book along with you, of course... (Sorry, I think I'm splattering sarcasm, again!)

Have fun, I guess!

I take it this is the "True" version of Thermopolae?
What ever happened to "Gate's of Fire" ? Who screwed that up?

I'm looking forward to it. I get enough reality in the real world, but I love legends and that is what this movie is supposed to be like.

Historical inaccuracy aside, I must say that the hoplites are hunky...

I have not spent months gathering Hoplites from the four corners of the earth just to let
some Swedish pancake in a purloined panoply lop their lower limbs off!

Especially 'Dienekes' - he who says the immortal words...although he is not listed as such! Stelios is the name he goes by...

As an aside, The Greek Warriors from New York are going to be involved with the publicity of '300' in the NY Tri-state and East Coast area..!

The enemy is less likely to get wind of an advance of cavalry, if the orders for march were passed from mouth to mouth rather than announced by voice of herald, or public notice. Xenophon

Not to mention that Stelios is a modern and NOT an ancient Greek name...

300 is the movie version of the Frank Miller graphic novel (Batman: The Dark Night and Sin City fame.) No, it won't be historically accurate but it should be way cool.
