The weather was good, and the terrain was great for a hike, although the starting out going up a steep incline didn't help us much. I was embarassed by how poorly I and some others handled that, but the scenery and social time made it well worth the huffing and puffing in the first mile. ;-) )
Thanks for organizing this, Pavlvs, it went very well and I'm looking forward to the next one!

it was great fun
remember toget all that wax out of your canteens and never ever forge to take the placement tacks holding the inner sole of leather on out of your caligues hehehhe
hmmmm i think i will build a proper shield cover and strap system and put a longer shoulder strap on my bag for next time.

My caligae insoles came off without the tacks on, otherwise I'd agree with everything you just suggested. :-P P
