Guys,

If you are interested in the army of c260-320, check out the new figures on the AandA site. They are not just more late romans (not an intercisa helmet in sight!) but quite specific to that era.

I'm glad that they do the late 3rd c., but I think they're a bit 'squatted', short-legged etc.

I have the Roman Trireme from Zvezda, still unfinished due to lack of free time and patience with this problematic kit...

i also saw some large wooden model kit on e-bay of triremes and quinceremes... but very xpensive..........

ps and in my view you could also convert their greek trireme in a Roman ship........

Personally I like Andrea's bireme...
