Dromedarius on patrol
#16
On a related note, what sort of dates do we have for the use of camels in Roman ranks? About what century do we start seeing them employed?

Hi
My latest illustration (featuring among other things a dromedary) can be seen at the Allies and enemies of Rome (Missed it? topic).
Hope you all enjoy it.
Best regards

The Verlinden model kit was based on information I supplied them after they had also based one of their kits of an Auxiliary Centurion on another painting of mine. They gave me a free model of that one but never gave me a free copy of the camel rider!
Graham.

i got the model lately at a discount. Huge model, looking forward at painting it!
