Hello
Here is a depiction of a Roman (3rd Century AD) Dromedarius on patrol.

I would like to thank Graham Sumner for all the data he made available to me on this mater.
Best regards

Very Nice, Indeed Big Grin

Now, I can imagine him an auxiliary attached to Legio III Cyrenaica, which had moved to Bostra.

Quintius,

How are you? If you're going to be at Birka, I'll be there selling.

hello
Many thanks to all for your feedback.
For all interested, I am also producing another illustration featuring dromedaries, but will be very different from this one...
Best regards to all

Hi Jurjen
It is almost done.
It is a personal interpretation of a famous illustration (by a famed illustrator).
I believe I can post it this weekend or in the beginning of next week.
Thanks for the interest
Cheers

Hi

The Verlinden model kit was based on information I supplied them after they had also based one of their kits of an Auxiliary Centurion on another painting of mine. They gave me a free model of that one but never gave me a free copy of the camel rider! Cry
