Is there any evidence for the use of split-pins on a seg. If one used it in some of the riveting on a seg. would that be totally unaccepteble as a recreation or could it be plauseble?
Is there any other pics on the split pins out there exept the one in the topic on the beltfittings.

I saw the pic in the other thread. Nice one.
I think it could be a little bit weak maybe on a seg?!
But on belts and simillar it could be cool to have, might try it for my sling for the spathae. Wanna try to make some fittings for it myself. Just found out my Girlfriends uncle is happy to let me play around in his metalshop, he is a tinker (If thats the name for a person whos profession is to make sheetmetal into things like drainpipes and roofs and windowsils.)

I'm sure I've not seen a split pin in LS Vol.1 or 2, but maybe Mike Bishop or Mike Thomas could elucidate on that?
