Looking for a way to walk off those Christmas excesses and the after-effects of New Year revelries? How about a digital stroll around the walls of Roman Silchester on a perfect winter's day?
There are two ways to accomplish this (short of actually going there, which I highly recommend): you can go straight to the set of photos (any browser should do) or use live.local.com to see an aerial view (requires Firefox 2.0 or Internet Exploder). If you get a 'This collection is no longer available...' yellow box, you may have to try again later, as the server seems to be intermittently grumpy.
So step out, breathe in deeply, and smell those country smells, but mind you don't step in anything unpleasant.
Happy New Year.
