Question: Looking for a plate!
#1
I wonder if someone have a photo of the Cavalerysoldier from Dan Peterson's book the reconstruction of the Arlon armour. Or the photo in Junkelmanns book of the same?

The Junkelmann book is 'Die Reiter Roms'

It is pictured on the cover. I can scan the image when I get home Martin.

Here's the plate from Dan Peterson's book.

Arlon reconstruction second from the right... Looks likely that you'd need a fair amount of padding under this bad boy!

Plus your calo running along behind to pick up the pieces of shoulderguard as the contraption shakes itself to pieces... ;-)

You know my method. It is founded upon the observance of trifles

I don´t really see what you mean?

If the shoulderpiece is straped onto the sub through the hamata or to the hamata it should not shake more than a "normal" seg.

I believe you are right Robert.

This would be very tricky to put on. You'd need help with that one!
