I'm not sure if this is to be compared to the ND? I mean, yes, it can be seen as a cross inside an oval (and thus resemble a ND shield device), but then the oval sits in a square, and that inside yet another 'box'. Seen together, they do not resemble any ND device.

But the basic art principles have connections with those of the ND, sure.

Pausch´s book is a general overview, but adresses many questions that were open so far. Interesting is what he says about toga use, and about all the different kinds of tunic and when they were in fashion. Smile roll: First, wouldn´t we need a permission by the author? I could summarize the book, however, but not befor spring...
