I have found an avatar I'd really like to use, but it's too big... And since I rely on public computers, I don't have the ability to resize it myself. Anyone here who is able to help...?

If the Powers would like to check and approve of the avatar, here's a link:

Left click on the avatar above and save it to your hard drive.

Click Profile at the top of this page (you must be logged in).

You should be on a page that has a heading something like:

Roman Army Talk Forum Index -> Avatar: Profile -> Your profile

Click on Profile below.

Below there should be a series of tabs, and click on the one that says Avatar

Simply click on the Browse button, and find the avatar file you saved. And that should be it.

Just upload one as an attachment and I'm sure it'll be fixed.
Greets!

Upload is as a pic in your post, not an upload as avatar. Use the 'Add Attachment' option you get if you use Post Reply (it's not visible in Quickreply mode).

Put your url next in the last box, not the above one, so down where it say:

Link to off-site Avatar:
Enter the URL of the location containing the Avatar image you wish to link to.

... Also in photobucket, you can put the picture in avatar size.

Philip said that the Athenians were like the bust of Hermes: all mouth and dick.
