Künzing is a bit far away from Holland, even when good Marco speeds his car to 200 km/h as he did when we went to Augsburg. I hope you enjoy it.

It may be interesting to note that several letters commonly dated to the Bar Kohkba rebellion (published by P. Benoit, J.T. Milik, R. de Vaux, Les grottes de Murabba’at [1961]) have recently been redated to the First Revolt: H. Eshel in ‘Documents of the First Jewish Revolt from the Judean desert’ in Andrea M. Berlin & J. Andrew Overman, The First Jewish Revolt. Archaeology, History, and Ideology (2002 London), a very good book.

Would be funny...

Maybe I'm visiting my parents to that time, then that's not so far away. And I still haven't seen the museum there!

19.30 o'clock: Professor. Dr. Thomas's Fischer,

Quintana lines up archaeological lectures in the museum

into the museum in Künzing:

Museum Quintana
Osterhofener STR. 2

Ave Jim,

Wow the Wordlingo translation is not bad!
The German term ‘Hort’ can mean a stronghold, but also ‘hoard’ /pool/supply/treasure.
A lot of coins (or pugiones and other ironwork like in Künzing) found at the same place usually are called ‘Hort’ in German.

So here’s my version:

19.30 O’clock: Prof. Dr. Thomas Fischer
Roman hoard finds from Künzing
Course of archaeological lectures in the Quintara museum

(Taking place) in the Museum in Künzing:

Museum Quintana
Osterhofener Str. 2
94550 Künzing
Tel.: 08549 / 9731-12
Fax.: 08549 / 9731-11
Greetings from germania incognita

Even with my crummy German I can't see why Worldlingo turns the object of the sentence into the subject (unless it is assuming a comma and a question mark and turning it into a question). It is a long time since I did German grammar... but the further it recedes, the more you worry about it! Perhaps I need to go and live in Germany for a year and reclaim my lost German...

Anyway, hearing Tom Fischer speak would be worth travelling from England, never mind closer parts of Europe. If you have the chance, go.

I hope the Bavarian state sents me to Deggendorf, which is not very far from Kuenzing Big Grin

Landshut would also be ok 8)

This sounds like a very interesting lecture!
