I have a question.
How late are the evidnece for diffrent types of gladii. I mean are there any "Fulham" and "Mainz" gladii around still at the end of the second century AD?
Would be great if somebody had any info on the archelogical find!

I don't think there are any finds of Mainz or Fullham blades even as late as the end of the FIRST century AD! Some folks do go on about "no such thing as obsolescence", "older equipment still in use long after...", and so forth, and that's fine and true to a certain point. But we can't stretch the use of anything much beyond the date of the latest known find or depiction. Mainz and Fullham blades clearly show that these swords were in use into the mid-first century, but for all we know they were "out of date" even then. Anyone got anything from later than that?

Salve,
The lastest Mainz sword I can think of is the one found at Chester, which could date it to 60AD+. There is a scabbard plate which was found at Caerleon, so the earliest possible date of deposition would be 74-75 AD. I can't think of any later than that though.
