Just what is the depth of the curve of your scuta?

Since you've been so good as to show yours, I should do the same- here's mine
Dimensions:
Height 104cm
Width 87cm
Depth (of curve) 24cm
The seams between the strips and their slight differences in height, etc. are also visible through the linen just as they are on the LEGXI scuta- so I guess the suggestion that you'd never know that these scuta are made authentically as opposed to just from modern plywood isn't exactly correct

I just recieved my Augustan scutum from Len Morgan! pretty nice. But Iam perhaps thiking you were correct Tarbicus, when you said it wasn't made of strips as per ancient method!

Lovely shields, only thing i slightly worry about is the HSP abbreviation... since HISP would be more correct in my view.

The photo is cropped - we use HSPA as our defualt abbreviation.
