New Guido Cervo book: The Adrianople\'s Walls
#1
This is the last job of Guido Cervo prolific italian author of Roman history romances.

The book style is excellent and the narration is articulated on the numerous vicissitudes (with or without happy ending like the reality) of the characters, with the great historical events in the background, with a optimal description of the great battle against the Goths.

The Guido Cervo's books are in italian language, but the first ("Il legato romano") has been published in Spanish language in year 2005

Ciao
I like Cervo's books. I read all and enjoyed them except this one (been spending too much on books lately).

Another recent good italian read on Adrianople is Barbero's "9th august 378, day of the barbarians". It is not fiction but the pace is fast an very intresting. Excellent basis for a nice movie.
