"Emperor\'s Box" in Coliseum
#1
Hello all, I believe there was a special spot for the Emperor and Senators to sit at the Coliseum, right?

My question is, do we know where these seats/sections were? It would be pretty cool if they are still intact Smile

The Imperial box, called pulvinar, was on the north side of the Colosseum and it consisted the male members of the Imperial family while the empress sat on the opposite site close to the box of the Vestal Virgins.

Since the ranks of the Colosseum today are more or less ruins you don't see much of it, so there is no Imperial box where you could sit
