the rust seems to be similar the other ones we have seen here on RAT, guess that was a big hole he got that stuff from.
he asks 6500 dollar ?!!, item location Limburg (netherlands). finding place for alomost everything he sells is the Balkans.... :roll:

... but a very pretty item as base for a reconstructed higher officer's helmet. I would like to have it uncorroded and for further reworking as a reenactment kit. :wink:

Yes, right now Sirmium is the most endangered site in Serbia. Some progress has been achieved in protecting Viminacium from plunderers, but Sirmium and its vicinity are completely unprotected.
