I encourage everybody to put photos of your roman childs. The children is one important part of the history, isn't it?

It\'s all an accident, an accident of hands. Mine, others, all without mind, from one extreme to another, but neither works nor will ever.

Vale,

There are few people who can embroider, your do you take the tunic embroidered to hand?, the embroideries that we take in my group is everything, from bought already facts or to do them but to machine not to hand...
Though there are groups that take the tunics embroidered to hand as the herculianii, France. Smile

Unfortunately here is difficult to find the industrials too: "fashion" and only fashion, so, no industrial embroideries remembering a sort of late ancient style...
Then, it's too much for now getting hand made embroideries for my impression, I've to improve more important things of my equipment, and so... machine! Smile

Ok!!!
here in Spain we have a lot of shops!!!! I don't exactly in English, Haberdasheries, you know? old shops, where there are bought buttons, needles, pins, etc In Barcelona there is a very ancient shop, S XIX, more or less, that only you sell embroideries, already made. There we buy them and sew them directly to the tunic.
If you are interested in it, I can give you the address. There has embroidered fantastic for the late roman tunics!!
If you want we can continue speaking in V century civilian impressions, and we leave the place for the children!
