Hello.

I found information in the photograph sword. This sword Strong possible Avarian / another Hungaryan tribe / sword. AD 250- 700 maybe. In AD 800 the Avarian for a soldier have , single blade sword, not double blade. That sure . In Kaukasie make this swords.

István, to attach a pic here, it must be either already on Internet and, thus, have an URL address to cut and paste here (You can always host pics on Photobucket for free! ) or you cand host it on the proper RAT.

Dear Arahne.

You're right, but the Hungaryan mixed tribe. Hunnish, /The Leader tribe/, white Hunnish, black Hunnish, Avars  !!!!!!!, kipcsak-Turkish, kabarok, kazárok, kunok.

Hungaryan language mixed language , kipcsak - Turkish and Hunnish. That sure.

Today we know better.

I haven't found a reliable sources about hunnish sword. A saber would have been more practical for a mounted warrior like the huns.

Maybe those swords are ostrogothic!? :?

I read the "swords" part of "Attila and the nomad hordes" and I realised I was wrong. The Huns didn't use sabre.

I think you were thinking of the Mongols later on. Easy mistake to make.
