Salve Heiko! I'm glad to be able to share these links as I find them.

I'm very thankful to those who put these images on the internet.

Another nice website, from Dr. Shelton, at the University of California at Santa Barbara:

[EDIT: Deleted. On 21 Oct 06, this website was password protected, apparently to limit access to only their students]

By using applicable search words, etc. at:

[url:2xsnbdoo]http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page

Search result examples:

[url:2xsnbdoo]http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Romans

[url:2xsnbdoo]http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Archaeological_sites_in_Italy

Not as many images as some other sites, but still a good variety, and some that are not available from these other sites.

Happy hunting! +r

It looks like they have now limited access to only their students. I will delete this website from my list... Sad

Roman, Roman-related, and other images for educational uses (per Copyright Law "Fair Use" provisions) are available at:

[url:3mngs8pe]http://restitvtvs.spaces.live.com/

The images are in the "Photos" section, which is accessible via the link on the upper right corner of the homepage.

Only 25 Mb capacity for now. After a month or so, it may increase 250 Mb!

Hope you find some that you will like & can use. +r
