Roman Wolf on the Tiber walls: Kristin Jones art works
#1
In Roma, along the Tiber, the american artist Kristin Jones drawed several giant variants of the Lupa Capitolina in various ages, just scratching off the dark pollution coating from the brick walls of the sacrum river. Brilliant and touching idea to celebrate the summer solstice night.

take a look at:

WORKS
then on SOLSTIZIO
and finally on OMBRE SUI MURAGLIONI

The images looks as lasting enough so if you come to Roma don't miss to see them directly

Great coin! Where did I see it before?
Probably, the story of the two boys being fed by a shewolf is an old Indo-European one that has survived in Rome, but also on other places. The first parallel that comes to mind is the Iranian story that king Cyrus was fed by a bitch.
