Whatever else one can say about the game (especially its historicity), R:TW certainly looks set to raise the bar in graphics and scope for real-time strategy games. It's visuals look set to be mouth-wateringly good.

Must say I am raaather sceptical about their claims that the game will be playable in all its glory with reasonably performance on normal machines, but we'll see - they've impressed me before.
Strategy
Now, supposedly any decent video card - say a Ti4200 or above - draws 3D figures more efficiently than 2D sprites.

So...R:TW (even w/ increased graphics overhead) will give you comparable performance to M:TW via these efficiences.

I hope they're right here.
The 3D Units have been updated over the last 3 weeks or so, there is;
* Velites
* Triarii
* Hastati
* Marian Legionary
* German Warband spearman

They look great - even if they are not completely accurate.
