Maps for reference
#16
Here's one of my favorite maps ~

[url:2b5ysnds]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/2/27/Ancient_Greek_cities.PNG[/url]

It isn't dated, but it's a good catalog of most of the major city-states on the Greek mainland, the Aegean islands, the western coast of Asia Minor, and Crete. It's also on Wikipedia, so I'd suggest saving it to you computer while it's there (use your curser and click on the map to zoom in).

Warning: It's high-res, so it might take a minute to load.

Quote:So watching at Epirus map, & reading some wiki, I see Alexander was a full Hellene, even though being mixed of two diferent Hellen tribes.

So he was not half Illyrian as many think.

Do they? Who exactly? :?
