Info about things in or around Louisiana
#1
I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask so... I'm just gonna ask..

Does anyone know of any Roman reenacting orgs. or the like around the Shreveport, Louisiana area?

I'd be much obliged to anyone that can help me out.

We did have a member of the ISPA (an association of Roman re-enactor groups that covers the South Eastern USA. He and his group may or may not be still around, but they haven't been to any of the major events in the past several months. This link of Roman units is often updated. There will be an event near Charleston, SC in October, 2006; Mobile, AL in February 2007 (Pompeii exhibit museum display time period AD79); Lafe Arkansas (immersion event at the fort time period AD43) March 2007....

There was a Legio III in New Orleans, but they lost their venue (before Katrina) and sort of drifted apart.
