This book "The Fall of Rome: And the End of Civilization" by Bryan Ward-Perkins, has been translated to portuguese. Is the book worth to be buy (18 euros)?

I just got done with this book and I can recommend it very strongly. It is mostly an argument against the idea that there was seemingly no real change in peoples lives with the decline of roman authority in the west that has become popular lately. It focuses on the economic side of things but it is very readable if somewhat short.
