Wehave established a preliminary Yahoo group for the Pompeii Event. The web address is:

February 2-4 2007 (New Date) in front of the Exploreum Museum in Downtown Mobile, Alabama and in conjunction with Fort Conde and the Mobile Museum, and with the City of Mobile, Alabama.

Website is up with the basics, more will come online as we get closer. Open to Soldiers, Citizens, Civilians, and Roman period Vendors from across the Empirs. Join the Yahopo group for specifics and updates.

got the website up and running and things are starting to come together nicely!

Plans have firmed up and we will be receiving the official go-ahead letter this week. Several Barbarian Groups have signed on to provide enemies and such, and we have seen the numbers grow.

We also look to have a number of period vendors, blacksmiths, leathercrafts, and such coming. Shaping up to be a grand event.

I will need names and addresses from group leaders, as the Museum is sending some formal invitations. Send them and your numbers to my email address, [email protected] .

Act now and set aside this weekend. It will be an excellent Roman event.

Updated the website with a ton of new info. Starting to get close, register as soon as possible so we can get an early count. Hotel info, Meal info, etc.
