A question please -
In the opinion of the board - should (if indeed they ever existed) the neck scarf worn around the neck to prevent chafing be bandanna shaped or scarf shaped i.e. a square or rectangular and long. Views please.
Many thanks in advance

I've read somewhere they were just normal scarf shaped, much like ones today.
In fact, I just found the threads:

I am just trying to decide what to go for before I start cutting the wool. I know historically we will probably never know. I just want to stop the flipping chaffing...

As stated, individual taste. I'd go with scarf. But then again, that's just me.
