Mythbusters

On the mirror experiment: when we were told the tale in math class back in 8th grade, we were told that the mirrors were used to set fire to the sails, not the ships themselves. So the Mythbusters, however entertaining, where, in my mind, wrong.

Ancient warships used the sails only to "get there" after which they rowed themselves into battle. Also, slaves were not used to row a ship.
