Vortigern asked me to update my profle so that my name displays. Good thing he did as I had to make some other changes too - never noticed that it was not quite right. I hope this works now.

You do know that you can preview your new signature before adding / changing it?
 Also, do ensure that the "Attach signature" checkbox below the "Message body" (the box in which you type a post), is marked. Good luck!
