For the benefit of those members who didn't get it or do not want to wait till the email reaches them, here's the newsletter:

Dear RAT-members,
New month, new news and straight to it!

1: World map. Romanarmy.com has now been equipped with a map component. It's connected to the Googlemaps entity and can be used to display the location of RAT-ers, Reenactment groups, Roman bases & battlefields, museums and ancient sites of general interest. Group-leaders, please add in your group! Login to Romanarmy.com and click here to add your data.
2: Helmet database. The helmet database is slowly but surely getting shape. Good quality photos of helmets not in the database are always welcome though! Join the discussion on the setup of this database here.
3: Site design. Many of you will surely have noticed the new design on Romanarmy.com. I for one am very happy with it! Slight design changes will also be enacted on RAT to give both sites the same style. My thanks to Christy/Satsobek.
4: New t-shirt. The same artist is responsible for the new t-shirt we are now offering in the Romanarmy.com shop. Finally a 1st century legionary. Hope you like the design. Click here to purchase it through Cafepress.
5: Digests. No time to visit RAT daily? Consider having RAT sent to you by daily, weekly or even montly digest. Go here to enable this service.
6: New Imperial Italic D. And just like last time, the parting gift is in the last item! The new Deepeeka Imperial Italic D will be offered at a reduced price to RAT members! They are offering this helmet at $175 including shipping to a limited number of RAT-members.
Now to ensure that everyone has a fair chance of getting one of these helmets [NOTE: the newsletter said one of these FIVE helmets. That is incorrect, so read on!], we'll instate the following procedure. Next Sunday, June 18th, at 10.00PM GMT (that's 5PM EST, 11.00PM Amsterdam) I will start a new thread in the RAT marketplace titled Deepeeka Imperial Italic D. Every member who claims one before 12.00PM GMT/7PM EST will get one. That means that instead of the first five members to post, it will now be available for anyone who posts in a 2 hour window.
Remember, if you claimed it, you bought it! Helmets will ship starting July 15th.

We Greeks feel left out; any plans on adding some Hoplite-themed commodities to the shop?
