You Are 40% Evil

A bit of evil lurks in your heart, but you hide it well.
In some ways, you are the most dangerous kind of evil.

Probably not that low for a pastor... but then, as a Lutheran, we affirm the fact of life that even the redeemed are simul iustus et peccator.

Actually, most of my points come from youthful mistakes.

At any rate, there are a number of counter-intuitive questions/statements on the test anyway. So all the numbers are most seriously suspect. In fact, I have no doubt that all of the members of RAT are actually less evil than their scores might indicate! (Sorry, for those of you who really do strive for world domination.) Here are some of the points I thought were particularly questionable:

You've killed a bug
-- I think it’s evil to let some bugs live!
You don't believe in God
-- Simply believing in God doesn’t make anyone holier (or less evil) than anyone else.
You've gotten in a fist fight
-- How about self-defense?
You've been arrested
-- In most Western countries you’re considered innocent until proven guilty.
You would choose your life over the lives of 100,000 strangers
-- Man, now that is evil!!!
You would kill for 1,000,000 if you were guaranteed not to get caught
-- There are some truly evil people I would consider executing for free.
You think giving to the homeless is wasting money
-- What if you think it usually is, but you still do it anyway, because you are compassionate?
You've shot a gun... and liked it
-- Chaplains are noncombatants, so I don’t own a gun and never shoot them, but I sure don’t see this as having anything to do with the question under consideration.

Well, it’s obvious this is nonscientific, and rather foolish. Still, it is interesting to see how everyone’s numbers are falling out.

You are a chaplain and you won't own or shoot a gun but you would execute for free?

(Sorry, I couldn't let that go by...)

Shooting is fun, and shooting is not necessarily shooting at people. (I wont hunt because I hate the thought of hurting an animal) but shooting full auto is a real honk!... and this question of shooting raises the issue of what part of the world you live in. That is, whether you have the luck or misfortune, depending on your point of view, where you can even own a gun, much lesss what type.
