Rank Structure
#1
Just like on the old RAT, we'll have a rank structure based on the number of postings. Exempt are the moderators, who are speculators. Asst.admin Richard Campbell is decurio speculatorum.
Otherwise, this is the structure you can compete in:
No. of posts - rank
<5 - tiro
<15 - gregalis
<30 - immunes
<50 - signifer
<90 - imaginifer
<150 - aquilifer
<250 - centurio
<350 - primus pilus
<500 - praefectus castrorum
500+ Legatus legionis

Note: Members who reach 250, 350 or 500 posts may request to have their rank frozen and be assigned to a certain legion. However, for every legion, only one primus pilus, one praefectus castrorum and one legatus legionis will be assigned.

Okay Jasper,
according to the EZ-Board I already have over 800 posts, so please update, and I hereby request Legatus Legionis of LEGIO XIIII Gemina Martia Victrix.
Thanks,
Dan

Hi Dan,
As stated before: Ezboard ate some posts and this board only counted the number of posts actually there on migrating. Sorry.
I can't manually update your number of posts on this board, but I will give you Legio XIII GMV

Rank indicators. Red for lower ranks, red+gold for higher ranks. Blue for mods and all gold for admins. They're supposed to be helmets with transverse crests, but I think they need a redesign. Or maybe something different altogether...

What if we had a different helmet type for each different rank? Would that be too complicated to create, Jasper? You know, like a coolus for one rank, an Italic so-and-so for another, perhaps a ridge helmet for another, and so on?

Yeah, that might work. I'm fiddling around now, but I'd be happy to work with something one of our graphically less challenged members comes up with (*HINT HINT*)

Is 12x120 pixels the maximum dimension?

Nope, not at all, but a modest format would be nice.
