Hello everyone!<br>
I'm a 37 year old loan officer from Springfield, Oregon.<br> I've always been interested in history, but Roman history has always been my favorite topic! I have thought of joining a legion for quite some time now and since I can't contact anyone from Legio II Agustus, in Portland Oregon, I'm looking into Legio IX, in San Diego. I'm a retired army sergeant, and have a degree in history from the U of O. I have been collecting my kit for a few months now and will soon be looking to actually participate! I am content to wear my quasi roman helmet (with ugly face grill) and deepeka sandals and my home made tunica. I don't think the strict authenticty of reenacting is for me.
