Gentes Danubii and Alauni at the Scottish Crannog Centre
#1
From the 13th to the 22nd June the groups Gentes Danubii and Keltenstamm Alauni was invited at the Scottish Crannog Centre at the Loch Tay. Its an privat organisation under the administration of Ms Barrie and Mr Nick Andrian. It's showing the reconstruction of a crannog which was quite good conservate at the Loch Tay from around 600 BC. It was very interessting to see the contrust between the british culture and the Hallstatt and Latene culture and to use the canoes they had to paddle around the *brrr* very cold Loch. The most of us was the first time up there, so also the scottish Highlands, the Edinburgh National Museum, the way the houses was build and the food was interessting, and, as a fan of good old Thracia, the many sheeps  *bäääääääähhh*
