Ezboard RAT & sisterboards
#1
Ezboard is going to clean up dead boards and yes, as far as I can see old RAT and its sisterboards will be among the cleanup. That has absolutely no consequences for us, apart from the fact that if you look for "Roman army Talk" v1 is still number 1 (and this board is number 2).
That means that there are still more links to the old version somewhere on the net. So IF you have a linkpage somewhere, please update it to http://www.romanarmy.com/rat . Also, if you see a link to the old site somewhere, please ask the webmaster to change the link.

Thanks all!

Jasper,

It is a while since I checked thoroughly but has the 'Archive section of RAT 1 survived? If so is it somewhere within RAT 2 or is it still languishing back on RAT 1? If it was not transferred with the rest of the boards many of the very informative threads it contained will be lost when Ezboard deletes RAT 1 as most of its contents will have been deleted from RAT 1 long before the transfer to RAT 2 due to old age.

Good question. I don't really remember. Is that section still some sort of ok on old RAT? I know that just after we left (thank god!) Ezboard was hacked, hard. So there may not be much left...

There were definitely a load of old RAT v1 threads around (The old black background). Don't know if they still are though.

For some reason I could not find any threads before 2004 when I searched the database about a year ago. Sad

Try again  That was a problem with the seachtables. Conversion of the RAT archive is being carried out as we speak.

Just in case I guess. Goes back as far as Jan 2001.

I know, I know. Will disappear soon enough though, but the import of the RAT archive is almost done.

Having imported the RAT archive, I found double threads. Anyone want to have fun and see which threads are actually missing in the current forums and copy them from the archives?
