Ha, ha, there's no escape for you, since we have a lot of conferring about JAMS to do. Is Martin Wieland or Sander going to come?
Hey, should I dress up for the Archaeon? Just promise not to laugh at my initial efforts at something approximating accurate Roman woman's dress -- I haven't hand stitched, and it's not going to be wool or linen. Will I be lampooned and mocked out of the Archaeon if I show up wearing my first efforts?
All right then, if I can make it (it's really a working vacation for me this time) I will bring the kit and will probably be able to work up the nerve to wear it for the first time in public...
Salvete Omnes,
Sure Jenny, you can come in anything you want.
We’ve got so many people in costume one more won’t even be noticed.
Except of course when she is wearing exceptionally beautiful dress.
The other day we had a visitor dressed as a proper Celt.
No wonder, he was a Celtic re-enactor.
We did the only logical thing; we asked him to join the show, what else.

Anyway here are the specifics for the dinner.
For who were there before it’s the same place as last year.
It\'s all an accident, an accident of hands. Mine, others, all without mind, from one extreme to another, but neither works nor will ever.

thank You for the pictures - what a nice society. It would be interesting if You could undertitle the pictures and tell us who is who (no official names of course, just the R.A.T.-names )

The only one I can identify is the second man from left on the first photo, I think it is the same that on the new Archaeon photos is representing the late Roman guards man and is looking very, very serious.
Guys, I'm sorry I couldn't be there to offer a bit of female companionship. Things are hard here at home. Glad you all had fun -- maybe I can make it next year.
Tsk, Tsk...
And not one of you dressed as a Roman!
I remember when we have dinner at some Tarragona restaurant and we hang our swords from the clothes rack!
