Help with ID of statue
#1
Salve all!

Can anyone of you fine gents possibly shed a clue about the statue in the pic below??

He appears to be wearing Lorica and seems to be some form of early Roman military figure but I am having trouble placing him. Is he Roman at all or perhaps some fantasy representation?

Any assistance here would be greatly appreciated.

MANY THANKS!!

That is an early modern interpretation of a Roman Soldier.

Thanks for your input. SO in otherwords it's a fantasy item which lacks any historical validity or degree of accuracy??

Many thanks again

Hi all,

looks more like a sculpture from (beginning?) of 20th century, although the overall appearance reminds me to a modern tin figure. But a Roman legionary with a papal-like tiara ?
