Oh, yeah, I saw that one. Forgot that it was a miniseries--I must have been really bored to have watched more than the first night.

Good points: Leelee Sobieski very scantily clad. That's about it, really.

As usual with Hollywood, the first thing to go is everyone's personality and motivation. Most of the basic events of the myths are there, but usually it's a sidekick or someone else who helps Hercules solve the problems. Lots of modern angst, no drunken rages, that sort of thing, though I don't remember a lot of the details. So it isn't really the story of Hercules at all.

Others will probably enjoy it more than I did!
