I decided to polish up the brass on my Italic G yesterday, and while it looked pretty nice after I was done, the brass had been badly scratched by the Brasso. Does anyone know of a good non-abrasive brass polish, or is brass like steel in that it needs to be scratched to be polished?

Look for something called "Duraglit". 15 years in the Corps and its all I ever use. Unfourtunately I don't know where to get it off base.

Never Dull works well also and I use it on my Coolus G. I buy it at the local groicery store and it is available at any military PX I have ever been too as well.
