Salvete omnes,
recently I found this beautiful site made by Eric Trauner from Austria. He is a well-known blues musician as leader and founder of his Mojo Blues Band and beside this he is a renowned diorama builder in the scale of 1/72:

Under 'Gallery Index' You can find links to some of his dioramas, among other things 'Ancient Roman life'.
But I also highly recommend the others, my favorite one after that drawing about Napoleon visiting a mummy at the pyramids.
