Ah, looks great!
I'm just curious about the sqamata arm-openings - they seem to tight to be realistic?

Other opinions?

I'm curious to know why there is an Auxiliary cavalry H helmet with a face mask. :?

Great artistic talent though.

Hello
Thanks for all the artistic and historical comments.
This is meant to represent a circa 275 AD Clibanarius, but I must admit that I have some doubts about the historicall accuracy of it.
The face mask was applied because of a description relating this tipe of helm with it.
Can anyone point out historically valid aspects to improve the illustration?
Thanks again to all

Hello Vieira, great work, I like it!

What about adding a four-horned saddle (like the guy has on the photo)? If I were riding I horse without stirrups, I definitely would like to have one!

JP Viera,

I havn't seen any helmet types similar to that with a face mask.....

It looks similar to the Niederbieber helmet,

Similar examples can be found here.

There is also some evidence that these were not exclusively used by Cavalry, but in fact by Infantry as well.

Hello
I decided to alter the illustration by removing the face mask.

I appreciate if someone else could point out other historical mistakes.
