Is there any evidence of open (not rivetted nor cut out from a plate) rings hamata?

The butted copper alloy rings are probably all from edge trimming

He goes on to say that it is likely that all of the iron rings were either riveted or stamped. So here's one example of butted hamata rings from the roman period, 3rd century, but they were used just for decoration.
