Hi,All. I just wanted to say what a good job I think HBO is doing with their "Rome" series. They seem to strive for accuracy with costumes,etc. much more than is often the norm with movies,tv productions.Probably the BBC being involved has much to do with it. I have noticed many little things like balteus plates that I recognized from here and elsewhere that are said to be accurate. We often like to criticize movies for lacking in these areas and when they do try I feel they should be commended.Just my two drachma(cistersi).By the way, they are all British so the accents are the same "good guys" or not.(Sorry about the monetary spelling. I tried the spell cow to no avail).Thanks,Andy
