New Spartacus Documentary (I\'m in it).

Last weekend I was flown to New York to be interviewed for a new documentary about Spartacus. It is being produced by Atlantic Productions (UK) for the National Geographic Channel. I was interviewed for about 3 hrs on the subject of Rome, Spartacus, the institution of slavery, the games, etc. I hope I get at least 5 minutes of screen time out of it. The director showed me a couple of minutes of introductory material shot in Tunisia, depicting the final battle and death of Spartacus. The good news: the Roman soldiers wear hamata. The bad news: Deepeeka Imperial Gallic and Imperial Italic helmets. Oh, well. And Spartacus wears a full-length manica hamata in the final battle. Release date is sometime early next year, possibly as early as January. I am now an official talking head!
