Yeah I know what you mean. I still hope he'll change his mind in a while or that someone else'll pick it up.

The enemy is less likely to get wind of an advance of cavalry, if the orders for march were passed from mouth to mouth rather than announced by voice of herald, or public notice. Xenophon

Just saw that the "warrior queen" is already made, in 2003. As far as i could gather on imdb, it is dreadful. Anyone here seen it?

Is there anybody here who has got anything else they\'d rather be doing than marching UP and DOWN the square!!?

Greetings,
yes I have seen that....!
I have it on video, but can't use that at the moment. From what I recall there were some boobs and things that irritated me, but I liked it overall, maybe because it was about Boudicca... Big Grin
I liked the ghostly twist at the end too....!
This film was called Boudica when I saw it.... :?

Some of our more juvenile members might find fault with that. So I thought I'd just point it out to them.

Quote:Did you know the Scythians had bagpipes too, a modern Hungarian band uses a reproduction one...
Well bagpipes as such where very wide spread through out Europe, only now a days most associate them with Scotland and Ireland.
Yes Braveheart is an aweful movie! The only good thing is that it shows that mideaval weapons are not toys like in those Earl Flynn movies, but can be rather nasty! Although when is war ever nice?

Greetings,
Hannibal is rolling.......set on location in Spain and Valencia Studios...
Alas, poor Yorick has been added to the cast list.....(thats a joke - !!!!! )
Yorick van Wageningen that is....which makes two so far...they also worked together in "The Chronicles of Riddick"
It is going to be a multi language production using ancient Aramaic, Iberian and Carthaginian although he state Aramaic will be used for Rome....?
